Vintage Kitchen ala Cora

Christmas Eve morning Cora woke up to a huge surprise.

It's a retro style play kitchen Offey built for her.
(That would be Vaughn for anyone besides Cora.)

The refrigerator, stove and sink are equipped with tons of authentic play food, cookware and dishes. Meemaw made some aprons from vintage tablecloths/linens. She has a chef hat and lots of potholders.

She especially enjoys dumping all the food out so she can sort through it.

I think her favorite food is the egg, which might be true with real food too.

This is what Cora says at times like these..."Cora happy"...oh, and sometimes "Happy Cora".

  3. I LOVE it!! I want one of my own. :) The color is perfect. Oh, one more thing... I adore the name Cora. (Except my husband is Cory and I think it could get confusing...) ;)

  4. Thanks so much, Farmgirl. Cora Adeline Grace was my grandma's name, so when my son and daughter-in-law decided on that name for our granddaughter, I was super excited. I think it's a lovely old-fashioned name.
