When a Community Comes Together

All kinds of good things can happen when a community comes together.

For a common purpose.


Last night it was to raise money to make our park a safer place. Over $6500 was raised at the pie auction. Way to pull together, Holdenville!

There were so many delicious-looking pies to choose from. We bought a wonderful blackberry cobbler made by my mama. Yum.


We love Stroup Park, located right in the middle of town, just a block from our home.

Soon it will be a park where we can walk and play and have a picnic. It will once again be a place for families.

    I'm with you, Jake. It made me even more proud to be from here. Everyone there wanted something better for Holdenville.
